Background: Engineering polymers like PolyAmide (Nylon) have found greater acceptance in recent times in performance applications like automobile and white good industry. Because of cost pressures, an increasing amount of recycled Nylon is added.
Problem:Nylon/POM are condensation polymers. Hygroscopic nature and sharp processing range, and easy degradation makes recycling difficult and causes significant drop in the properties of the recycled polymers. This severely restricts the usage of recycled material in the same performance application.
Solution: Impact+ N helps to enhance the impact values of the recycled Nylon while also taking care of moisture related problems.
