Background
Carry bags, films and industrial liners are widely used in modern life. They are made out of polyethylene formulations with varying dosage of LDPE and HDPE. For reasons of economy, reprocessed polymers are added in significant quantities by a large number of users. Other processors use Talc fillers as well as Calcium based fillers.
Problem
Tear Strength of the films, carry bags, and industrial liners is a key parameter in performance. Both additions – that of recyclates and that of fillers reduce the properties of the finished product.
Solution
Strengthx is used by manufacturers of carry bags for increasing strength of carrybags, industrial liners and other films made using recycled plastic.
FillMor S and FillMor V are used by film processors who use virgin polymers but added fillers.
