PVC Recycling

Background:
PolyVinyl Chloride (PVC) is a widely used polymer. PVC is widely recycled and PVC recycling is wide spread. Recycled PVC finds applications in shoe soles, pipes, cables etc.

Problem:
Major problems encountered in the recycling of PVC are due to moisture. Silver streaks, and reduction in physical properties are major effects of residual moisture during recycling. Standard desiccants have dispersion problems in PVC.

Solution:
AquaNil
is a desiccant specially formulated to disperse in PVC. It removes moisture related problems like silver streaks, reduction in physical properties etc.
